What input devices can I use with the Virtual Reality Toolbox version 3.1 (R13SP1) ?
There are two input blocks, the ‘Joystick Input’ and ‘Magellan SpaceMouse’ input. I would like to know the devices which would work with these. There are numerous joysticks available and Magellan makes several versions of the SpaceMouse.

This enhancement has been incorporated in Release 2008b (R2008b). For previous product releases, read below for any possible workarounds:
Regarding Joysticks:
The Virtual Reality Toolbox uses the Windows game device API, so we support all joysticks which are supported by Windows.
The Joystick Input block allows you to select the ID of the device so that you can have several joysticks connected to different Joystick Input blocks. The number of Axes and Buttons updates will update to each individual joystick.
Joystick devices can control varying numbers of axes. So it may be necessary to adjust the width of signals in the Simulink Model depending upon which joystick is currently connected.
As of R12.1 we don’t support the “Force feedback” joystick devices. This is being worked on for future releases.
Regarding the SpaceMouse:
